Allt går inte att förstå…
…men är kul ändå.Det finns kreativa människor som är fascinerande just därför de sträcker sig över många olika fält. Ett uttryck eller signum som binder ihop allt trots att föremålen är vitt skilda. En sådan person är Geoff McFetridge.
Grafisk designer, animerare, filmskapare och allt där emellan i visuell konst. Främst känd är han nog för öppnings- sekvenserna för indie-Holly- wood- filmer såsom “Adaptation” och “The Virgin Suicides”.
Kuben eller snarare tärningen ovan är skum, men väldigt fin tycker jag. Illustrationerna är en blandning av fornnordiska monster och urbana monster (bilarna).
Hur? Vad? Varför? är oväsentligt. Den är bara fin och det räcker för mig.
Synd bara att den inte är större för jag skulle gärna vilja ha en sådan kub hemma som litet avlastningsbord för min tekopp på kvällen.

Everything is not understandable… but it’s fun anyway.
There are creative people that are fascinating just because they can lap over many different fields. Their expression or style ties everything together even though the objects are totally different. One of those people is Geoff McFetridge. A 33-year-old graphic designer, animator, filmmaker, and everything there in between in visual auteur. Perhaps mainly known by his opening title sequences for indie-hollywood movies as “Adaptation” and “The Virgin Suicides”. The cube or rather the dice above is weird, but very pretty. The illustrations are some mix between ancient Nordic monsters and urban monsters (the cars).
How? What? Why? Is not important. It is just beautiful and that’s enough for me. Just to bad it’s not bigger because I would love to have it as a small table for my teacup in the evening.
